HSCP Courses
Viludhugal Tamil Palli is a WASC accredited organization qualified to conduct HSCP programs and offers the following different levels of the HSCP program, detailing enrollment requirements and prerequisites for each level.

*The American Tamil Academy evaluation test for HSCP-2 evaluates Writing and Speaking skills in Tamil. Students willing to take the test to qualify for HSCP-2 can refer to the course contents for HSCP-1 to get a fair idea on the coverage of the evaluation.
Each level of HSCP is designed with a curriculum that covers conversational, reading and writing skills, with expertise from qualified educationalists and researchers.
HSCP curriculum also includes sessions with language experts from various verticals such Music, Arts, Literature, Films, etc.

Lesson Plans and Assignments
Lesson plans are discussed with students in the previous classes and/or communicated with them via emails or class specific Whatsapp Groups by their teachers. Assignments are managed and evaluated through Google classroom.
Grading Policies
Students are graded as per the following scores:
- A = 90% – 100%
- B = 80% – 89.9%
- C = 70% – 79.9%
- D = 60% – 69.9%
- F = 0.0% – 59.9%
Grade F neither attracts any course credit or progression to next level while Grade D attracts only credit but no progression. Other grades will ensure progression to the next level. Under guidance, VTP can follow a different grading system that is accepted by the school districts while the grades are being reported.
HSCP Registration
Registration should be done via “Registration” menu provided on our website.
HSCP Registration Fee
Registration fee for HSCP for the entire year is currently $350 per student. This is subjected to change with prior notice at the discretion of Viludhugal Tamil Palli.
Key Notes
- HSCP Courses happen during the regular weekly school hours viz., On Fridays in the evenings, usually from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, but are subjected to minor changes due to facility and availability reasons, including shift to online classes with prior notice to students.
- HSCP Courses will be subjected to the mandated length of the course dictated by the school district.
